The Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU is a European Union directive which mandates energy efficiency improvements within the European Union. It was approved on 25 October 2012 and entered into force on 4 December 2012.
Under the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan is aimed to reduce the primary energy consumption of Turkey by 14% by 2023 through 55 actions defined in 6 categories namely buildings and services, energy, transport, industry and technology, agriculture and cross-cutting (horizontal) areas.
ENVER planned as a portal and content management system to provide content and data entry for the activities and practices of all energy efficiency stakeholders within the scope of Energy Efficiency in industry project.
• Achievement of the various EE targets as set in the NEEAP and relevant strategic documents
• Encouragement of investment in energy efficiency through market-based mechanisms or regular capital flows
• Stimulation of a market demand for energy efficiency interventions, services and new technologies in the national economy
• Indirectly increasing the quality of life of people by enhancing environmental sustainability and decreasing the consequences of energy imports at national level.
